I don't even think this place deserves 1 star really...
How this place received 3 stars is because only one individual voted. Obviously this person is from the area, most likely born and raised, and has no clue, nor has any idea how bad Gallipolis (Gallia County) really is. Most likely a "local" (Fits in with the rest of the population there).
This place has been the worst place I have ever lived (5 years now... unfortunately)
I have lived all over the US... this is by far... the worst place I have every came across.

This place is a literal choke hold on you!
Lack of REAL Jobs that pay to make a living! The only work you will find is $8.55/25 hrs wk.
Laws here are terrible!
Taxes are HIGH
People here are HEARTLESS, SHADY, MEAN, UN-CULTURED!
Lack of ANYTHING to do... unless your a redneck and into Hunting, Fishing
VERY ISOLATED from other towns you can shop at.
ALLERGIES are YEAR ROUND!
EXTREME fluctuations of weather.. one day it will be 33... next day 65! (This will get you sick!)
RAINS RAINS RAINS!!!! CLOUDS CLOUDS CLOUDS!!! Below 60 percent sunlight YEAR ROUND (Look up on city-data.com) DREARY as hell!
DRUGS ARE RAMPANT! this is the heart of the opioid crisis! TRI STATE AREA!
DILAPIDATION and FILTH of homes on every street... even in the country!
DEPRESSION is rampant here!
NO HOPE.... NO FUTURE...
Populoation is on the DECLINE!!! went from 5000 (2010)... now... 3000 (2019)
FULL of Old People... the Younger people are ALL Liberal.. on some kind of medications.. lowlife.... druggies...
Just don't even come for a visit... DO NOT EVER EVER EVER Move here!!
