Review of Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan

transportation
Star Rating - 5/23/2005
Grosse Pointe Park is a walking city. It is only about one mile by one mile big. Everything you need (groceries, movies, flowers, clothes, shoes, doctor, school) are all within walking distance. Police are everywhere and it is very safe, despite being so close to the city of Detroit. The city is the only one of the Grosse Pointes to have two city parks. Both are right on Lake St. Clair and offer swimming pools, tennis courts, basketball, playgrounds, picnic areas and exercise facilities.
