Nice place for families!

I've lived in Wadsworth for 30 years now. It's a nice place to raise a family. It's growing, but still has a small town quality. Very little crime, very good schools, conservative values, plenty of good places to worship, lots of sporting activities. Plenty of work for professionals within a short, fairly easy commute and cost of living is reasonable. The only downfall I see is the weather. If you like lots of cloudy days, rain, and long winters you'll love it here! Our first snowfall in 2006 was in mid-October. The cold weather usually lasts from Oct - through March with temps going up and down like crazy. Spring and fall have a lot of rain. We're lucky if the kids can wear shorts when they get out of school in early June! You never know if the 4th of July is going to be 90 degrees or soggy and 65! In 2006 the 4th of July was cold and rainy, but then later in the month there was a week of solid temps in the 90's. Very crazy. If it weren't for the weather this place would be perfect!!
