Review of Cedaredge, Colorado

Best climate in western Colorado
Star Rating - 8/24/2011
A variety of factors combine to give Cedaredge arguably the best climate in western Colorado. To the north and west, the Grand Mesa provides protection from the worst of winter while allowing the sun to warm the town from the south and east. During the summer, the 6200 foot altitude ensures that temperatures rarely exceed 90 degrees. Daytime summer temperatures are generally about 10 degrees lower than surrounding communities including Delta and Grand Junction.

Cooler in the summer, warmer in the winter. Live in Cedaredge, work in Delta, notice the difference. I was initially hesitant to move to a cold climate and didn’t trust the banana belt reputation until I lived here. LOVE IT!
