Southfield is a good city to live in. Centrally located in Southeastern MI it is 15 miles north of Detroit. Southfield is situated along all major freeways.The public services are excellent. The city boasts the largest public library in the region, 2 public golf courses and numerous public parks. The school system is good and there are several excellent private schools in the city and neighboring suburbs. Southfield is the business hub of Oakland County. Numerous major corporations have their headquarters in the city.
