guality of life

When the economic growth came to the Ozark area and the population increased, the influx of outsiders brought about changes to where there is no longer a regional character to the people or area. The cost of living sky rocketed and the cost of housing to the point the quality of life and stability of most average families have been compromised. The actual impact on the environment was effected to where this is no longer a clean near pristine place. The quality of my job in healthcare was horrible: I have never worked in a place with so many disenchanted people and I've never seen place where so many healthcare providers were on mood stabilizers and antidepressants. Again though most were lucky to have jobs with benefits; many were working there with none. As for liberalism it does exsist among most there and diversity is fair but also is judgementalness and cliqishness and much intolerance and that is in all "ball courts", narccism is the norm there. I found Little Rock to be worse but there are still areas with great quality of life: Mount Ida, Eureka Springs, Siloam Springs, Hot Springs, Jonesboro, Lake Village, Harrison, Mountain View, Pine Bluff. The state still offers much if you consider to take in the Arkansas experience. Do watch for the mobile meth labs though when out hiking or driving the back roads. I really found more problems though in town:Little Rock or Fayetteville than I did out on the rural roads. Once the outsiders leave than maybe the Ozarks can again become what they once were. Even Little Rock was really not that bad prior to the growth of the 80's and 90's, it was just a little more violent.
