My husband and I recently moved to Fort Garland Co and we are just so happy. We love the breath taking view of the mountain and the climate is very comfortable and pleasant from March-October. We get good amount of snow but we love riding snowmobiles and ATV's. Anyone who comes to visit should check out the Sand Dunes National Park, Zapata Falls and must more. Anyways honestly we are originally from Florida and this place is just a mental re-charge not to mention feeling closer to Nature and its beauty.
