Wonderful warm weather year round

Lake Placid is a tiny gem in south central FL. The weather, crime rates, schools, and cost of living are very good/low here. There are hills, has the highest elevation in FL I believe.

Hi, can you be more specific on what you like? I'm from the north and hear stories about high humidity and heat and gigantic bugs in FL. What are the housing and the neighborhoods like? What do people do for recreation? Thanks!
