Harley or Honda, Iron Horse or BMW, North Texas is a great place for motorcycle riding. The many 2-lane blacktops from Denton, TX north to the Oklahoma border and between Sherman/Denison on the east and Nocona on the west are a joy to ride. Wide open prarie, huge sweeping turns, unexpected canyon vistas, and abundant wildlife are only a handful of the delights awaiting the adventerous soul and Krum, TX is a perfect jump-off point.
North and east to scenic Lake Ray Roberts and the northern scrub oaks to north and west to St. Joe, Illinois Bend, and the Taovayas bridge, it all starts in Krum. When it's time for a break, pull up your bike for some delicious small-town cuisine whether it's home-cooking at the Krum Cafe or Mexican fare at Miguelito's.
