Review of Las Vegas, New Mexico

Quality of life?
Star Rating - 3/21/2009
Las Vegas New Mexico is truly an architectural gem-100s of historic registered buildings from victorian mansions to adobe haciendas unfortunately it is also full of drugs and small minded narrow viewed politicians. Las VEgas NM is leave it to beaverville by day and Fredie Krugerville by night. Financially affordable but other prices very high.

I was there once in the eighties. It was charming. (I think you meant Eddie Kruegerville).

I love Las Vegas. I would move there in a heartbeat if I could talk my wife into it. But she who must be obeyed comes from a very close family, and it just isn't in the cards for me now. I disagree with the other writer about beaverville. I find it to be a very liberal city. I was hard pressed to find any "vote for George Bush" signs around election time. Whereas the Barack Obama signs were everywhere. Las Vegas is a very old city with a colorfull history. I have lived in the Tucson area for over 40 years, and just recently discovered Las Vegas, and what a find it was. I like to get up there at least once a year, and perhaps end up there after all.
