Niki, well you made it for 14 years which is a long time to be in a place that really sucks. Yes, much traffic cause the Denver metro has been advertizing that there are a lot of jobs. There are NOT, so unemployment is higher than the propaganda employment reports. It works, hence the big traffic. Wages very low. For example; if you are not in the sweet spot of age of 35 - 45 then you may do hourly contract work. As a contract worker, working say...a 6 mth contract, the pay is the same for everyone; as an IT project manager, an IT business analysis, a computer programmer, a database administrator, a network engineer, a systems engineer, a data analyst...you get the picture. The same hourly rate of $45-$50/hr for all of these specific skill sets smells of a communist paradise where everyone is paid the same with NO benefits, NO health insurance, NO vacation time, NO sick time, NO holiday pay, NO 401K, NO pension, and NO severance pay. If you want any of these benefits you pay for them out of your hourly rate. Next we then all equally pay the same high rents for a safe neighborhood = $1,200-$1,800/mth for a 800sq ft.-1,000sqft place which may or may not have a 'club house' which few people use anyway.
