Great place to live

I moved to the area from Bradenton/Sarasota area. Lived here since 2003. My youngest has been in day care all the way to a sophomore in high school now. Schools are pretty good. If you want an A rated school it will probably be a uniform required school which imo is the best anyway. High Schools have great programs and I have broken them all down and made a video for people moving here along with other helpful videos on my blog.
The beaches are not comparable to Sarasota/Bradenton. That honestly is the only thing I miss as far as location. Sarasota traffic is so much worse and you can get a waterfront pool home in Cape Coral for a very reasonable price unlike Sarasota or Bradenton. Sanibel and Captiva beaches are only a short drive 20 mins. away. Naples, Bonita all have great beaches. Good luck and contact me if you would like me to answer any questions or send you my blog or Youtube channel. I recently recorded many driving trips around Cape Coral so you can see the area. You can go to Cape Coral Police Department Crime map and see the crime in the area. Very small violent crimes, mostly car break ins from teenagers who are looking for unlocked doors. There are many vacant residential lots still available scattered all around the city. Cape Coral is right now still only about 45% developed. The housing crash slowed the building considerably but for the past couple years homes have been going up like mad everywhere. You can get a new construction home very reasonably priced. Let me know if you would like more details. Please message me as there is no notification to me when you reply to this review.
