The worst of Miami all in one place

I've lived in Homestead for about 12 years, and I can't wait to leave. It's a city full of poor people who can't afford to live in Miami by any stretch of the imagination (if you can't afford to live in Miami, you probably can't afford to live in Homestead), and non-English speakers who are rude even by Miami standards. They all flock here to make one amalgam of all the worst qualities of South Florida. There are no jobs in Homestead. Outside of working at your local fast food restaurants (which are already taken due to nepotism), you will have to commute to Miami or Broward for a job. There was a statistic that found the majority of people in Homestead have an average commute of almost 2 hours for work. Good luck meeting friends here on apps like Meetup, they are useless here.
