High Cost of Living

Killingly is in my opinion not a great place to live anymore, the cost of living is to high. Most jobs in town are now low paying retail. We use to have mill/factory jobs but they have dried up. Most people have to travel to find higher paying jobs. Taxes have steadily gone up, which is understandable, but I do not see increased value or even the same level of value. If you are looking to relocate to killingly, my advice would be to pay close attention to taxes. Which are property, fire and vehicle taxes.
