When we moved to Corona 15 years ago, the neighborhood was extremely rural with orange groves everywhere, no sidewalks, no streetlights. Since then, we were fortunate enough to have bought in an area that has grown substantially! New homes right across the street, new parks, new shopping, etc. The best has been the new elementary school walking distance from us. Ben Franklin Elementary has just earned the California Distinguished School Award! Our teachers have all been wonderful and caring individuals. They work hard to make sure our children do not "slip through the cracks". How lucky were we to have bought in this area without knowing what we were in store for!
