The Westridge neighborhood contains more than 500 homes. In 2007, they are selling for $230k-$300k. At the center of our neighborhood is Blue Heron Park. The houses in Westridge were built in 1979 and are mostly owned by baby-boomers. Most residents are dual income, although retirees and stay-at-home moms also live here. House turn over is fairly low. A part of the neighborhood borders houses above 400 and 500K that are zoned for horses. From our driveway we can hear horses, a rooster, and coyotes yipping when the firetruck runs. A llama farm is just a few blocks away. It is a quiet neighborhood and a voluntary home owners association works at keeping Westridge a quality neighborhood to live in.
