Public schools are terrible. Most whites go to private schools. Crime is high and certain parts are to be avoided. If you are white and well off you can live well in the East side or white side of town. Cost is relatively cheap but so is pay for most people. Visit West and Centraland South Montgomery also check out school situation before moving there. Former Homeowner.
