This is a very regressive area.The only increase in local wealth production,is within the city and county government.The property is low priced,but property taxes remain rather high for the area's resale values.Crime is higher than it should be for a rural farming community.The median age is slowly climbing,as the future looks bleak.The area is becoming a retirement area,for the wealthy metro area folks due to low real estate cost,and the location of Lake Huron.
