Review of Central, Utah

Beautiful & Quiet
Star Rating - 9/8/2021
Well, I just moved to Central, Utah about 6 months ago & I love it. It’s a beautiful quiet little town up in the mountainous old volcano/lava flows about 20 miles above St. George. Right up the road 10 min is the beautiful Pine Mountain Reservoir & surrounding town. 15 minutes from Enterprise where there’s a grocery store, hardware store, gas stations, high school, and a couple of restaurants. 8 minutes from Veyo & 25 minutes from St. George. At about a mile elevation, Central stays cooler than St. George and even gets a decent amount of snowfall each year. The entire area is one of the most beautiful geographical & geological areas I’ve ever seen. The incredible & dynamic geo-thermo activity that created this spectacular terrain long before human beings existed would’ve truly been something to behold & is an amazing & humbling reminder of the infinite power & majesty of God. In 2013, the largest super volcano in the world, Wah-wah Springs, was discovered nearby which I find fascinating. God bless.
