This is one of the best places you could be in Austin if you want easy access to downtown Austin in under 15 minutes but also want a safe neighborhood with all of the shopping and restaurants that you could ever want. Head 15 minutes outside of town and you get to experience the Texas Hill Country and a more laid back way of life. We've found this to be the best part of town to live for us and we've lived North, South, East and Northwest.
