Review of Chesapeake, Virginia

Family friendly and we've got the beach, that's it
Star Rating - 3/29/2020
I live around this area currently, in the "Hampton Roads". Which consists of Virginia Beach, Suffolk, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Newport News, Hampton, and Chesapeake. We're all "one big family" and connected in a way. With that being said, there's not a lot to do here, most people go to the beach, or a water/amusement park, and....thats it. The traffic is pretty bad, housing and rent is a little on the expensive side, there's ALWAYS road work, which makes traffic even worse, on the plus side though, it's pretty family friendly here, the schools are pretty good, nice-ish weather with little natural disasters, big military presence if that's your thing. Me personally, I'm moderately considering moving out of here, but it's not THAT bad. I'm just not a beach person AT ALL, and not too big about the military either, nor a big water park person, which drastically limits my recreational activity choices. I plan on doing some traveling/ city searching soon, but I might stay here.
