Sitka has got to be one of the most beautiful places on earth when the skies clear of rain and clouds... If you yearn for a remote island community with plenty of opportunities to hunt, fish, and boat as well as a strong music and artsy community -this is the place for you. On the con side, Sitka has an extremely high cost of living, overpriced and slim real estate options, and did I mention the rain?
