I own a house in DS and it is a near perfect place to live. It is cheap, it is quiet and it is close to Las Vegas. It's not hot, as we are high above the AZ cities. There is very little crime. If we had a bus that commuted over the canyon, it would be perfect. We are getting a bridge over the canyon to Las Vegas and I imagine that in the next year we will be besidged by specuators even in this economy. Residents look here. It is divine! I've lived in L.A. and many othe places. This is paradise.

Looking through optimistic eyes is the best approach. I have been here almost 12 years, and have seen a lot of changes. Prosperity takes work, and determination. There are people who take good care of this town here and there. We need to clean up more, and attract people who will contribute a positive social atmosphere. There are more good than bad points. The traffic is a challenge as of late what with the Sky Walk and all.
