Review of Epping, New Hampshire

ummmmm, ok it you like snow and cold
Star Rating - 2/15/2021
It's small and quiet. If you like woods, snow, having to drive 30+ minutes and extremely high taxes then this is the area for you. The crime rate is low and that's a good thing, but I assume it's because the entire north east is frozen for 3/4 of the year and no one wants to go out. Other than that, if you want to make good money, live in a high taxed area with everything else being really expensive to the point that you spend all of your high salary and develop a drinking problem to deal with the constant gray skies, snow and cold then you've found it. I couldn't move from there quick enough.

Epping is a great town (rapidly growing) with just under 8,000 residents. It's located 1-hour from Boston, 1-hour from the White Mountains and less than 30-minutes from the ocean. It has 8 excellent restaurants two malls and two major supermarkets. It intersects with routes 101 and 125. It is generally cool in the summer (since it's close to the ocean and its seabreeze) and the winters are not bad either. Contrary to the previous moron who made absurd comments, Epping is a great place to raise a family and offers very reasonable commute times to major cities in NH and Massachusetts. If you love the 4-seasons and access to great hiking, boating, fishing, swimming, skiing and more then Epping is an ideal location.
