Judith. I've been in and out of New Mexico since 1969. This go-round, I've been here since 1995. My Mother moved here in 1969 and she just passed away last November at age 90 so now, I'm getting out of Albuquerque...moving to a very small village. My advice to you is STAY IN COLORADO. I am tired of hearing gun shots every night - it has gotten so bad that now I ask myself, "I wonder who just got killed this time?". I am tired of watching local news about the murders which occur on a daily basis and what else the thug kids did. The most recent is that 6 little thugs were out and up to no good at around 2:30 in the morning and shot a man in his driveway. Those punk thugs are all under the age of 16. Stay put, Judith - you have no idea how good you have it until you come to a place like Albuquerque. New Mexico is now second in crime rate - only Alaska is worse. I could go on and on but I won't.
