Review of Kenosha, Wisconsin

Temperate climate.
Star Rating - 12/17/2007
After having lived in Minnesota for 45 years Kenosha offers nice change of climate. Lake Michigan seems to moderate the large temperatures swings we were used to in MN. Another added bonus is the the additional on month of Spring and in the Fall. There are days in the Summer that the temperatures can be in the 90's but if the wind is off the lake a trip downtown to the harbor area can
offer refreshing relief from the heat. We have found the temperature can be as much as 15 degrees cooler at the lake compared to our home, 5 miles west. Snow seldom stays more than a week due to the moderating effect on winter temperatures.
