Review of Edison, New Jersey

Living in north edison
Star Rating - 6/25/2014
North Edison is a somewhat typical suburban town, with a few differences.

The town is unofficially separated by school districts into North Edison and South Edison, with a separate town, Metuchen physically in the center.

North Edison has a better school system, with the top portion of the class attending the ivies, and everyone else going to Rutgers. South Edison, has a slightly lower ranked school system, with the top portion attending Rutgers, and the rest attending cc.

Edison as a whole is a fairly quite town. A number of people commute to NYC via Metropark, or they work in engineering firms in neighboring Woodbridge.

The past decade has seen an influx of asians and indians, as well as the construction of McMansions, and large 5000+ sqft custom homes on every available lot.

There is a "little india" in neighboring iselin.

The town is fairly quite and safe.
