My husband and I bought a townhome in Orland Park 6 years ago. I am very happy and impressed with the level of safety and beauty that we find in our neighborhood. There is an array of activities for everyone, it seems, from preschoolers to retirees like us. My husband is a Vietnam War Veteran. For his 70th birthday the kids, grandkids and I surprised him with having his name put on the Village Memorial to our veterans. There are 2 OP park district fitness centers in addition to the many private fitness centers around town. The activities for Senior Citizens are aplenty as well as opportunities to join any activity for those 18 years old and over. The Centennial pool is a great place to have fun with my children and grandchildren. They don’t have to live in Orland Park, I purchase discounted passes for them. Good for toddlers to teens! I only regret buying a home with too many stairs. I intend to make Orland my launching pad to leave this world and go home to my Maker, Savior and Lord Jesus. And what a day that will be!
