Moved to Chattanooga from the San Francisco Bay area. It was a hard one but after losing much in the 2017, 2018, 2019 annual wildfire festival of California I got tired of all the fun of running for my life at two AM in the morning so we decided to move. Looked at over 40 metro areas and came up with the suburbs of Chattanooga. This place is pretty awesome with endless nature, cheap...ahh...cheaper gas, no state income tax, unbelievably friendly people, exploding local economy, not just based on fake jobs that are fueled by unproven tech but real manufacturing and quality of life jobs. Weather is a bit too hot from July to middle of September but its better than dying in a wildfire.
