It is hard for me to believe the negative comments

As someone who has lived in Boston, New York, Pittsburgh and Wahington D.C. I think I have been around. I am surprised at the negative comments I see about Sacramento.
I moved to Midtown, a few years ago, I thought it would some day be like Georgetown in wash. D.C. Well it is. Great historic homes, and many new lofts and high end condo's going in. More shops and restaurants than I can count. very hip. very strong neighborhood groups. You get to know lots of people in the area in a hurry, if you only try. So many things to do within walking distance, plays, shopping, dinning. Lots of volunteer activities.
And if you want to go other places, well San Francisco and the ocean an hourand a half west. The mountains an hour and a half east. Yesterday, I took my 5 year old daughter up to a ski resort, bieng april we had top down on the convertible, 75 degrees sunny, warm, beautiful. spent the day playing in the snow, sledding etc in tee shirts and jeans. Life is great.
Job growth is anticipated at 15% a year for the next few years.
