Great place to live...with a few flaws

Grew up here and love the area. People are friendly and lots to do in what used to be a sleepy little village. Still, Canal Days, Saturday morning Farmer's Market, HS football, walks along the canal.
It's a little pricey with realty and cost of living.
NYS taxes suck. Unless you love shoveling and skiing, snowmobiling, etc it might not be for you. Great fall weather
