Review of Mapleton, Utah

Great Place to raise a family!
Star Rating - 3/14/2016
We moved to Mapleton as a young couple forty years ago. We have loved raising our four children here. There is a rural atmosphere while being only 15 minutes from all the sports and cultural events at Brigham Young University and three large shopping malls. Mapleton has two elementary schools, a junior high and a high school -- all of which are top rated. There are many youth sport teams. Neighbors are friendly and generally well educated with many being BYU professors. There are several city parks, but my favorite is the old park in the center of town. Another favorite place is Maple Canyon which has picnicking, hiking trails, and camping. Mapleton has a moderate climate, is close to Salt Lake and ski resorts, and has a welcoming relaxed atmosphere. We've loved living here.
