Local residential codes and ordinances don't allow for a helipad, or for a helipad or heliport to be constructed above their indoor pool. However, Flying Cloud Airport is very close and is equipped with a Heliport. With Bloomington's geographic shape when referring to landmarks or places of interest separating the city by East or West is natural. As with any large U.S. suburb there are differences in household income; this is more profound between the east and west. As of 2019, the median household income is $70,512 and median property value is $227,900.
