The area near the Budweiser factory on the northside is absolutely awful. Jacksonville has some rough areas, but the people who live here are particularly...particular. If you haven't been here for 30+ years, you are dirt to the majority of neighbors, and they will make it their mission to harass you into leaving. The strip club really sets the mood for the whole area. If deciding to move here, I would only look into the newer areas and avoid old, insular neighborhoods that will cause more trouble than they're worth.
