Leave the rat race behind. - 5/23/2019
I grew up near Hooper and went to school there and spent my youth there. I have great memories of those times. I moved away like most young people for job opportunities as Hooper is small. I am 62 now and have found the rat race in the town where I have been living is just too much and the cost of rent, etc. has been growing beyond the wages of the town. When I was displaced due to a flood, I moved to the Hooper Housing Authority apartments. Love the quiet, it truly is going home. Friendly little town, 3 great restaurants, I live near a lake, that used to be a hot spring, is all cleaned up, geese, ducks, all sorts of wildlife. Nice town and nice
