"Point Pleasant is the perfect place to live for families and beach lovers. The schools are excellent and the community is very involved. We have access to beautiful beaches, parks, and a variety of local restaurants. The only downside is the cost of living can be high, but it's worth it for the quality of life here."

"I've lived in Point Pleasant for over 20 years and it's been a great experience. The town has a strong sense of community and there's always something to do. The summers are amazing with beach days and boardwalk fun, but even the off-season has its charm. The only thing I would improve is the traffic during peak tourist season."

"I couldn't imagine living anywhere else. Point Pleasant has everything I need - a beautiful beach, great schools, and friendly neighbors. The downtown area has a variety of cute shops and restaurants, and the boardwalk has a fun, nostalgic vibe. My only complaint would be the limited job opportunities, but it's a small sacrifice for such a wonderful place to live."

Originally a farm community in the 1800's. It had a deep river with access to the Ocean. The river attracted a commercial fishing fleet. Pt Pleasant Beach is the beginning of the IC Waterway to FL. The Ocean and the quaint downtown made PPB a great tourist attraction. What is there to do? Many restaurants and night clubs. 1/2 day fishing party boats or overnight canyon sport fishing. NYC is 30 miles as the gull flies. Boat and PWC rentals. River taxi goes from bar to bar via the river. Boardwalk with games and rides. Two airports (Monmouth Exec and Lakewood) within 8 miles. Barnegat Bay is 5 minutes south. Nearby are Wall Stadium for race cars and Monmouth track for horses. Downtown shopping is decent in the old walking from store to store tradition. Many coffee shops-some with Read More
