The Brooklyn Heights/Cobble Hill area gives you a great balance between a more laid back, less expensive outer-borough experience, and proximity to Manhattan. Great conveniences, such as the new Trader Joe's on Atlantic Avenue, the Ikea and Home Depot only a short way away in Red Hook, and restaurant row on Smith St. make it one of the easiest places to live in the city.
