I moved here a few months ago for a job. I'd much prefer a more walkable location, Conshy was the best I could do based on where the job is. I think it has a lot of potential but is ruined by poor urban planning.

The area near the bend is pretty nice. It has a few nice restaurants and is a decent neighborhood. Unfortunately, the city is mostly ruled by the tyranny of vehicular traffic, especially as you get to the outskirts. It has two train stations (Conshohocken and Spring Mill) but due to the lack of walkability it's often necessary to drive to them. In fact I have no route to Spring Mill that doesn't require walking in a high-traffic street, and many places with sidewalks are uncomfortably thin and close to high-speed traffic. Even worse is the western part of the city - if you go far enough down the SRT in that direction you get to a point where there's basically no place you can walk off the trail, so trying to run in a loop in that direction is a Read More
