i grew up in nederland,tx went to school in nederland and graduated from nederland highschool in 78 i seen alot of changes over the years from the price of beef to taking a vacation price of beef has got way out of hand as far as pricing goes i can remember when a can soda cost 18 cents a can i thought at that time was kel because at that time of my life you could go to the store with 5.00 and bring home alot of junk food along with soda's and still have change left over gas used to be 50 cents a gallon eggs were under a dollar for a dozen even meat was cheaper back then till after 1978 prices gradually begin to rise when jimmy carter was in office price of gas went from 50 cents to a little over a dollar when regan was in office price of gas jumped a little over a dollar when bush sr was in office the cost of living really went through the roof and gas prices was still over a dollar when bush jr went into office price of gas went as high to almost 5.00 a gallon those of us who are on Read More
