Rain and winds dreary - 1/7/2022
I have lived in Washington 50+ years, lived in Snohomish County (north of Seattle) most of my years, but decided to move Pierce county (south of Seattle) a few years ago cause it was cheaper, so i thought, assumed good place to retire. Housing has sky rocketed, and traffic is horrible and much worse than i anticipated, only 1 road to get to where you need to go. No one told me weather was way worse here. Constant wind and rain. Power goes out a lot here, all year long. It rains way more here than up North. The wind is very strong shakes everything. Beautiful area, just bad winds and constant clouds and rain make it very dreary. If you are okay with this, you will love it here, i love the town. I wished i had known all this.
