Look at this site's data on cost of living. 24% less than national average. You can't beat that. Often, a low cost of living will be associated with a high crime rate.  More

Crime in Rutherfordton in next to non-existant. You hardly ever hear of murder or rape here. I'm aware that we have burgleries and so forth, but very serious crime?   More
