Calcasieu is a great place to live but it does get hit by Hurricanes and that is the downside. I live in Sulphur, LA in Calcasieu Parish. There is nothing wrong here  More

Gonzales (and surrounding area) is a fair town to live in. Not much to brag about, little or no excitement except youth sports, but then there is very little crime here  More

A very family oriented place with little to no cultural activities outside of regional ones. Be prepared to feel like a 'stranger in a strange land'  More
