9/25/2019With public transportation comes more problems like giving access to undesirables and more crowding, not to mention major traffic problems. If you can't afford a vehicle or the cost of an Uber ride then you should be down in Auburn or Roseville. But then you'll have twice the homeless, crime, and tweeker problem. I'd like to keep this a small, undiscovered town.

9/25/2019Lynse, although I don't have school age kids, I agree with the issue regarding the schools in Foresthill. They don't seem to put any effort into English. Nobody, including the adults, can speak proper English, their grammar is atrocious and they can't spell. How can a kid have kind of future in a decent job or college if they don't know these basics? Unfortunately, the adults that grew up here are no better. If you are looking to move and have kids, the housing shortage created by the fire in Paradise has given people the opportunity to sell their homes for twice what it's worth. At these prices, you should be able to get a much better education for your money.

9/25/2019Well Cassie, some people apparently like it here, people keep moving here from the city, then complain about the mountain way of life. Unfortunately, people keep moving here, so the housing costs are skyrocketing! If your parents want out, this is the time to sell, I'm sure they'll their house for twice what it's worth.

9/25/2019Are you serious?! We have bears, mtn lions and coyote and and you are complaining about dogs? We have dogs for a reason, they are a security measure besides a family pet. Dogs keep bears and mtn lions away; they also deter vandals and thief s. Go back to the city!
