Where I grew up -
8/7/2006Franklin is beautifull with several wonderfull parks and one of the best bike trails in the state of Pa. Downtown has wonderfull historic buildings and the house prices are very good. Not many high paying jobs and schools are only good if you plan to be a very involved parent. The senery is wonderfull and the locals are friendly but very negative about life in general.

7/12/2006I grew up in Franklin and still miss the views of this smalltown valley.
Wonderfull bike trail, main street is cute, lots of beautifull old homes.
Prices for a home are very low but this is a reflection of how hard a good job is to find. School system could be better but is not bad if you are a very involved parent. Locals are friendly but a bit negative about life in general.

7/5/2006Wonderfull Parks, great neighbors, and a Main St community. Employment is good but cost of living and housing are very high. The local Library may be small but the programs they offer are wonderfull. The Mayor and City Counsel members make themselves available to residents and welcome input.
