Snowflake, AZ is a small town nestled in the White Mountains of Arizona with a population of 7,827. This picturesque town has plenty to offer year-round including outdoor activities, local businesses, organizations and sporting events.
The main street in Snowflake offers many unique shops and boutiques such as the Snowflake Mercantile for antiques and collectibles, Nikki's Book Nook for books and gifts, The Trailhead for hiking and camping supplies, Ladybugs Boutique for clothing and accessories, Country Rose Bakery for delicious homemade treats, and Tumbleweed Feed & Supply which offers all kinds of feed and supplies. There are also several restaurants such as the Wildcat Pizza Co., Marker Cafe & Saloon, or The Brass Rail Diner.
For outdoor activities there is something for everyone to enjoy no matter what time of year it is! Snowflake boasts some of the best hiking trails in Arizona with breathtaking views of the surrounding areas. Fishing enthusiasts can take advantage of nearby Show Low Lake while golfers can play at one of two local courses – Silver Creek or Concho Valley. Other activities include snow skiing in the winter months or taking advantage of one of several ATV trails available nearby.

Finally, if you love sports you won’t be disappointed! Being home to the professional baseball team White Mountain Apache Tribe Razorbacks there are plenty of events throughout the season when they host games at their home stadium located right next door to Snowflake High School. There is also an annual Memorial Day Softball Tournament that takes place each year at Bullard Park as well as other local athletic tournaments throughout the year.

We came to Snowflake from crazy San Diego in 1990. Not being Mormon, we fell into the the lifestyle without any problems. The people here were wonderful and still are.  More
