Middlebury, IN is a small rural town located approximately 25 miles east of South Bend. It has a population of just over 1,800 and is made up mostly of farming communities. The area is known for its excellent public schools which provide quality education and strong academics. The Middlebury Community School Corporation operates five elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school as well as an alternative school for those with special needs. The district has received high ratings from the Indiana Department of Education, making it one of the top performing districts in the state.
