Granite, OR is a small town located in the foothills of the Cascades mountain range. With a population of just over 200 people, Granite is known for its rural atmosphere and proximity to outdoor recreation. Although the town is small, residents have a few different transportation options available to them.
For those who prefer to drive themselves, Granite has access to several state highways that connect it to nearby cities. There are also numerous scenic roads that offer picturesque drives through the surrounding forests and mountains as well as connections to larger towns such as nearby Bend.
Public transportation is limited but still accessible in Granite. The nearest public bus line runs from Redmond to Sisters and stops at the Ponderosa Park & Ride in Culver. From there, passengers can take a taxi into Granite or arrange for other transportation ahead of time when traveling into town.
Additionally, there are several ride-sharing services available in the area such as Uber and Lyft which can provide convenient access into and out of Granite depending on their hours of operation. Overall, while public transportation options may be limited, there are still various ways for those living or visiting Granite to get around without having to rely solely on driving themselves.
