Petaca, NM 87554 is a small rural town located in Taos County, New Mexico. With a population of just over 400 people, it may seem like there isn't much public transportation available. However, the town still offers plenty of options for getting around. For local travel within Petaca and the surrounding areas, there is a network of buses and shuttles provided by the Rio Arriba County Transportation Department that serves the entire county. The route runs between Española and Cuyamungue and stops in various towns along the way including Petaca.
