Kaunakakai, HI is a small town located on the island of Molokai. The town has a population of approximately 3,500 people and is governed by a mayor-council form of government. The current mayor is Stacy Helm Crivello who was elected in 2018. In addition to the mayor, the council consists of five members who are responsible for making decisions for the town. They are: Robert \"Bob\" Kahawaii, Etienne Manutai-Lope, Kaiwood Purdy, Michael \"Mike\" Kalama and Selema Tuaoli-Faufata.
