Los Lunas, New Mexico is a small town with a population of about 15,000 people. The city is governed by the Mayor and four City Council Members who are elected by local citizens. Here at BestPlaces, we were looking at the voting patterns since the 2000 election and realized that we could express the results of each election as one letter. R if the Republican Party candidate won, D if the Democratic Party candidate won and I if the Independent Party candidate won. Boring is the word that comes to mind regarding Los Lunas. Moved here two years ago from Arizona. If you want to do anything you have to drive 25 miles to Albuquerque.  More
